First ever brand-designed terminal for Celebrity Cruises, Terminal 25 features frictionless arrival technology and a sleek design, all crafted to create the ultimate guest experience

Cruise Terminal 25 Port Canaveral

Terminal 25 was designed by BA to complement the sophistication of the terminal’s new resident ship and subsequent newbuilds – Celebrity Edge. The facility features cutting-edge technology, an iconic grand atrium and interior passenger lounge area design providing for the ultimate in passenger experience, while streamlining operations. LEED certified, Terminal 25 replaced two smaller, outdated buildings and provides an improved ground transportation area with direct access to a separate baggage processing facility, intuitive passenger flow initiatives allowing for movement from curb to ship in less than 10 minutes, conveyor fed scanning and baggage processing, passenger breezeway connected to new loading bridges, technologically efficient baggage collection areas and a VIP facility that is the essence of modern luxury with direct access via elevator from the lobby to lounge to vessel.
Terminal 25 was designed by BA to complement the sophistication of the terminal’s new resident ship and subsequent newbuilds – Celebrity Edge.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection Inspection facilities featuring facial scanning and expedited debarkation processing were developed within the terminal with secondary support infrastructure at a centralized location. The design team focused on the guest arrivals and departures experience, from a functional service and design perspective. This facility like many others designed and delivered by BA was fast-tracked to meet new build and inaugural vessel delivery.
Mark Ittel, Sr Vice President of Ports and Maritime
Mark leads the Ports & Maritime Group and has worked with ports and destinations worldwide for more than 30 years (22 with BA) and extensive destination planning and shore excursion program management experience from his tenure with Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises (11 years). He is recognized as an expert on cruise market assessments, cruise tourism destination planning, strategic master plan development and cruise facility planning.

Terminal 3
- Port Canaveral
BA designed and delivered the new 200,000 SF Cruise Terminal 3 to the Canaveral Port Authority and Carnival Cruise Lines in 2020 and it was finally used in August 2021 for their newest ship, Mardi Gras, the first North American-based LNG powered ship.

The project was constructed to LEED Gold standards, focusing on innovation in design and facility operation to create a platform that optimizes energy performance, indoor air quality, water use efficiencies and maximizes the use of local materials and human resources.

- Port Miami
Design and construction administration of regulatory DHS Customs and Border Protection facilities for the 220,000-SF flagship terminal facility. Terminal A showcases an angular, glass center and a connected parking garage with 1,000 parking spaces at the northeastern side of the port. The project is certified LEED Gold

Cruise Terminal & Pier 27
- San Francisco
BA, along with a local design team, developed the Cruise Ship Terminal and Northeast Wharf Plaza (Public Park) constructed on an 8-acre pier site comprised of the existing Pier 27 and the adjacent vehicular transportation area. The first users of the cruise ship terminal was the America’s Cup for the sailboat races on San Francisco Bay.

Marina Bay Cruise Centre
- Singapore
Marina Bay Cruise Centre was opened in 2012 by the government of Singapore. BA, in association with RSP Architects Planners & Engineers (Pte) Ltd. of Singapore, designed and provided construction administration of this 320,000-SF, $500-million multi-story terminal facility and infrastructure to accommodate a new generation of mega cruise ships.
